What Every Percent Matters Can Offer for Fundraising Support

Provide marketing collateral you can share with your networks to support the Every Percent Matters initiative (see below). Ensure you provide receipts for donors, as these can serve as a charitable deduction. [Please note that while GoFundMe is an excellent platform for raising funds, donations made there are not tax-deductible.] In addition to credit card donations (which include a 3.5% processing fee), offer various fundraising resources like Venmo and Zelle, as well as check or cash methods.

You MUST complete the gift caretaking agreement below, sign it, and return it to us. Additionally, you can request a monthly status update on donations related to service dog funding.

We do not endorse one donor, client, or dog over another. You are welcome to create your own marketing materials and place them alongside Every Percent Matters. You and any donors supporting you are responsible for your own tax deductions in consultation with a certified accountant. Every Percent Matters cannot provide tax advice nor is it liable for any oral or written statements construed as tax advice. You and your financial supporters do not receive recognition for donating funds, as these funds are not considered a sponsorship for or to Every Percent Matters. Every Percent Matters will distribute funds for expenses related to service dog funding exclusively to Yes And Dog Training, as we have an exclusive contract with this training company. Please note that Every Percent Matters does NOT provide any training or supplies concerning service dog training, as that is a separate contract with Yes And Dog Training for their training services. Funds are distributed to outside vendors, which may or may not include trainers (through Yes And Dog Training exclusively), breeders, or other related vendors as invoiced.
